What You Need to Know about Anchor Rigs

Ⅰ. The performance and main faults of the anchor rig

Anchor rig is mainly used for sliding wave treatment projects of railways, highways, water conservancy, hydropower facilities and anchoring projects of dangerous rock masses, controlling the displacement of buildings and other high slope rock mass anchoring projects, and also used for construction of urban deep foundation pit support and foundation reinforcement engineering holes, blasting holes for blasting engineering and tunnel pipe shed support holes, etc. 

It has good performance: compact structure, small size, light weight, flexible maneuverability, suitable for working on high slopes and scaffolding; hydraulic power head has a large output torque, strong drilling capacity, and a wide range of drilling rigs; The output speed of the power head is continuously variable, and the drilling parameters can be independently selected according to different construction requirements and geological conditions to achieve the best drilling efficiency.

Therefore, regardless of the type of anchor rigs, the hydraulic transmission system is an important part of the anchor rig equipment. If it is not properly maintained, various failures will occur, which will seriously affect the normal operation of the equipment. Therefore, we should pay great attention to the maintenance of the hydraulic system.

Ⅱ. Classification and characteristics of anchor rigs

At present, most anchor drilling rigs in China are mainly designed for rock anchoring. The technical performance of the drilling rig machine can be divided into two types:

1. Full hydraulic anchor drilling rig

The rotary power, propulsion power and auxiliary actions of this type of drilling rig are driven by hydraulic pressure, and the hydraulic station is driven by an electric motor or an internal combustion engine. This type of drilling rig has a wide adjustment range, a larger applicable aperture and depth; better hole-opening and anti-jamming capabilities, flexible and convenient operation, and is currently the type adopted by most rig manufacturing companies.

2. Electric-hydraulic anchor drilling rig

The rotation of this type of drilling rig is powered by a motor, and the propulsion and auxiliary actions are powered by hydraulic pressure.

Ⅲ. The characteristics of foreign anchor rigs

At present, most of the foreign anchor drilling rigs used by construction teams are fully hydraulically operated with internal combustion as the power, equipped with hydraulic rock drills, with single power, large processing range, and suitable for soil and rock anchors, but they have great advantages for soil anchors.
